Every claim about compliance, audit, or control is only as strong as the architecture underneath it. Compliance layers added on top of assembled infrastructure produce a compliance surface, never full institutional control.
MonTechSys is architected so that governance is a property of the platform itself. Institutions licensing MonTechSys inherit the governance model as part of the deployment, not as a separate integration project.
MonTechSys is architected around four operational truths, each with a single source of record across the platform.
The terms of the relationship. Merchant contracts, licensing terms, scheme agreements, all as a single source. No parallel commercial ledgers.
Identity and access. Of users, of institutions, of merchants, of systems, all as one identity model. No siloed access control per subsystem.
The financial ledger. Obligations, payments, reconciliation, all as one source of truth. No reconciliation across parallel systems.
The event trail. Every transaction, every state change, every action as one immutable audit log. No reconstruction from partial system logs.
MonTechSys deployments are architected so that the institution controls its data. Where it resides, who accesses it, how it is used, and how it exits the platform.
Data locates in the jurisdiction the institution chooses, driven by regulatory requirement. Sovereign deployments give the institution physical control. Managed deployments give the institution contractual control with configurable region.
Role-based access control across every plane. Every read, every write, every configuration change is attested and logged.
MonTechSys does not access, share, or use the institution's data except at the institution's explicit request for support purposes.
Data extraction is an architected feature, not a commercial concession. The institution can extract its data (historical events, configuration, audit trail) at any time.
MonTechSys architecture supports the regulatory posture the institution is required to maintain. Per-jurisdiction data residency. Per-regulator reporting formats. Per-scheme certification depth.
The platform does not require the institution to build a separate regulatory reporting layer on top. Reporting is generated from the same audit trail that governs internal audit and external certification.
For jurisdictions with specific mandates (RBI in India, EU regulators, US state regulators), the platform's deployment includes the configuration and reporting alignment those jurisdictions require.
